“IF is our family project — one that has grown alongside our family itself. In 2013, we acquired and redesigned the very first ‘IF’ in Vilamoura. The following year, in 2014, we inaugurated our first major project, ‘IF Vilamoura’ (visit our website: www.ifvilamoura.com). It was during this time that our passion for tourism was born: a passion for welcoming guests, for creating something unique, and for offering an atmosphere that feels truly like home. Our daughter Francisca came into the world together with this project, which was built with ten years of love, passion, perfectionism, and dedication.

In 2017, we acquired the property that is now home to ‘IF Almargem.’ It took six years of hard work, innovation, and devotion to bring this dream to life — a project infused with love, passion, and artistry. During this journey, our daughter Madalena also became part of the story, making this endeavor even more meaningful. Finally, in 2025, we proudly opened IF Almargem: a symbol of family, resilience, and the belief that when love and dedication meet, extraordinary things can happen.”
